Laura Ward

Vice Chair

Laura Ward is an ABTC Accredited Clinical Animal Behaviour (CAB) Practitioner, who specialises in aggression and reactivity. Laura has had a passion for animal welfare and behaviour from a young age. Her first carer was as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, starting training at 17y, and qualifying in 2009. Laura then completed a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour, whilst still working as an RVN and volunteering at training classes. Her behaviour practice, Minds Alike Animal Training and Behaviour was founded in 2014. Laura has also founded The Pet Prep Initiative; an educational resource aiming to help dog owners with grooming and vet care. Laura is passionate about industry standards and enjoys her role as the Vice Chair of TCBTS, a board member, the CAB Committee Lead and a CAB assessor.  Laura lives with her border collie Neo and enjoys agility, hoopers, scentwork and obedience and her horse Maggie, alongside her husband and young daughter.
